Failure to initiate download
I entered the blog, added it, and hit download, but the blog isn't downloading. Nothing indicates that anything is happening. The option to pause is there. Tried entering a different blog and got the same issue. Tried logging into my tumblr account. Tried deleting and reinstalling the software. Tried installing to my secondary drive. Tried running as administrator. I also tried installing a previous version: v2.17.0
I'm currently trying the latest version: v2.18.0
Am I missing something?
echoing this issue. just downloaded the program and nothing is happening. the user guide says that the blog is supposed to show up as green when it's actively downloading, and i've hit download for the blog but it's not showing up with any colour.
Same problem here. One blog says "Tumblr Hidden" under type and doesn't list any downloadable items--even though it's accessible via browser. Tried a few other URLS that give a list of downloadable items, but nothing is happening.
No colours at all.
Can you confirm that you added the blog(s) to the download queue?
If the problem also occurs with the older version, it's not a general download problem.
As mentioned in several other posts, downloading hidden blogs is currently experiencing some issues.
I'm using 2.18.0.481 and I'm having this issue as well. I can confirm the public Liked By blog is in the queue when I click Download. It waits for a second and then throws an authentication message/error the vast majority of the time. When I click on the Settings > Connection, it usually says that I'm Logged in. Sometimes it will say I'm logged out, but then clicking the Authenticate button loads the Tumblr window signed in; closing it doesn't update whether or not it's logged in.
