I found TumblThree very useful, so I added it to the Windows package manager Chocolatey.

The package page can be found here: https://community.chocolatey.org/packages/tumblthree

Thanks for your nice work and providing a PR 🙂 Isn't it a bit overkill to install Chocolatey in order to "install" an application in a ZIP file? But users who already have the package manager installed can of course use this package. Are you the package owner and will you maintain it in the future?

Actually I have doubts whether to add "another way to install TumblThree to the README" as no installation procedure is described in it in the first place. But it could be added to the Wiki pages where the "installation" is described. Either mentioning the Chocolatey package only, adding comments to the install/update/uninstall sections or adding a separate page about the package...

What do you think?

Thank you for your kind response.

To answer your questions:

  1. Sorry for the miscommunication, I meant for it to be an option for those who have installed Chocolatey. Not for Chocolatey to be installed to then install it. I just thought it would give people who use Chocolatey the option to easily install your package if they wanted to.

  2. Yes, I am the package maintainer and I have an automatic update script that will push the newest version of the package to the community repository whenever it runs. If you would like to create a Chocolatey package maintainer account (or already have one) I can add you to the list of maintainers on the next update so you can have control over it as well.

  3. Yes, that is perfect. You can add it wherever you see fit. Just make sure the people who use Chocolatey can find it if they go looking through the README and/or wiki.

Let me know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.

I added your suggested change to the Wiki. And I added you to TumblThree's contributors list. Thanks for your contribution.
