Although an essentia locus equipped with an aggregator and a set of essentia mirrors is capable of sending essentia any distance (and even to other dimensions) the only method of extending the range of the essentia total readout is to attach vis readers via remote comparators with a range of 20 blocks, and this setup also breaks down once you get to 5 or 6 comparators in the chain, limiting the practical range to 100 blocks or so. A device that could be attached to an essentia mirror that would act like a remote comparator/vis reader combo and scan the mirrors target location for an essentia locus within draw range would be very useful. It could only scan when placed/wanded , and then remembers the location (with checks to make sure the mirror(s) are still the same occasionally) , so you dont have to worry about scan ticks
