gnome-shell freezes when putting files into the clipboard with Nautilus

When this extension is enabled, it will cause a full gnome-shell freeze when using copy or cut in Nautilus. Ctrl + Alt + Fn keys get disabled, screen locks (clock seconds stop iterating) and input devices turn inactive. Music keeps on playing in the background. Disabling the extension helps circumventing this behaviour.

Where should I look for logs that can help us debug this situation? Many thanks in advance.

Happening onf Fedora 30, Linux 5.3.6-200, gnome-shell 3.32.2

What is the extension version you have?

metadata.json says it is Version 33.
