Sticky fireball explosion and discharge explosion deal incorrect amounts of damage ingame?

As far as I can tell, the explosion of a sticky fireball should deal up to 15 concussive explosion damage. However, it seems to deal up to 20 if you stand right on top of one. I made sure I was on normal

For the discharge, no matter how close I stand to it, it deals up to 20 damage, when it should deal up to 40?

This was tested outside Nowhere, but that shouldn't make a difference, right? I also have 80 HP and made sure the 1 hit kill limiter ability was off
