Expanded Storage chest connectivity

Expected Behavior

Expanded Storage's chests to connect as vanilla and modded ones do

Actual Behavior

ES's chests place as single chests no matter what is around them

Steps to Reproduce

Place a double chest of any kind with Expanded Storage chests, pickup any piece and place it again, it won't connect as expected

Version of Minecraft, Carry On, Forge/Fabric

mc 1.19.2, carry on 2.0.5.16, forge 43.2.11
