Server and client crash while moving stackable items

Expected Behavior

When I move the stackable block using this mod: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/stackable it should move the block but it does not.

Actual Behavior

When I move the stackable block using this mod: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/stackable it should move the block but it does not. I try to place it in my basement and it crashes both the game and the server, when attempting to rejoin, crashes server.

Steps to Reproduce

Use the mod, place a few stacks of redstone, move the block under it and crash
