The first message after creating a channel can be sent empty

Usually, users can't send empty messages. There is one exception:

1. Create a new channel.
2. Enter space as the only element in the text area.
3. Send a message.
4. A message appears in the channel without any text or sign.

This will not happen in any other circumstance.

Hi @kingalg , as an extension of the issue you created, I’ve noticed that messages with leading spaces are not being trimmed or stripped before appearing in the chat. This allows users to extend messages unnecessarily by adding spaces, affecting chat formatting.

To resolve this, we can implement a trimming/stripping function to process messages before displaying them in the chat. If you assign this issue to me under PLDG Cohort-2, I’d be happy to work on fixing it.
