Integrate the Echo Protocol with strong multi-encryption
hi, I like your project, because it is big and cappable in sense of project management. For the client I would prefer in the GUI a bit more information, e.g. where connecting to and what the keys and status are etc.
Therefore a request:
Please add the integration to send strong multi-encrypted messages over the Echo Protocol to Quiet:
- https://www.reddit.com/r/Spot_On_Encryption/
That requires tor-reachable servers (accepting only encrypted packets) and this architecture should provide faster and more reliable messaging rather than with two hidden servers:
- https://github.com/textbrowser/spot-on-lite
Please keep in mind that the server is just another Tor-Hop, as all stays encrypted, the server does not store anything, just echoing the packet and is reachable by Tor, means hidden Quiet clients behind Tor.
Three implementations as pathes would be possible within the Tor Network respective this Tor-Messenger:
a) Quiet-Alice - Echo - Tor - Tor - Echo - Quiet-Bob (Echo Tor-tunneled) b) Quiet-Alice - Tor - Internet - Echo-Server - Internet - Tor - Quiet-Bob (Tor-proxied Chat-Server, which only accepts encrypted packets) c) Quiet-Alice - Echo-Server - Quiet-Bob (direct connection to Echo-Server with only encypted packets, the server makes the other client's IP anonymuse/proxied).
Thanks for an innovative integration to become Quiet a Tor Messenger with strong encryption based on the Echo, which has more pecularities than just strong encryption: It also brings more anonymity to Quiet because of a "Beyond Cryptographic Routing" scheme.
