Issues with joining the community

Version: 2.2.0-alpha.2 System: spotted on iOS and Android, but it's most probably a backend thing and can also affect desktops.

Issue: sometimes joining the community is impossible and the user is stuck on "Joining now" - "loading messages". It doesn't happen every time, but it happens often.

Steps to reproduce: join the community several times, mostly visible on Android.
