[AIF360-R] Vignettes
Add vignettes to showcase different use cases and capabilities of the AIF360 R package. For ideas, refer to the various demos and tutorials within the AIF360 Python package including:
- Bias mitigation in advertising tutorial
- Reject Option Classification (ROC) demo
- Disparate impact remover demo
Hey @milevavantuyl , Thanks for creating this issue. I might be interested in picking it up (at least in part) and was wondering whether that'd be ok and if so, whether it makes sense to just start this off by recreating some of the Python examples in R and as Rmd for now?
Hi @jansim, you're definitely welcome to contribute some vignettes to the R package. Recreating some of the Python examples (as you suggested) is a good starting point. Also, feel free to create any vignettes you think would be beneficial. For reference, this introductory vignette is the only vignette we've developed thus far.

I just have one more question: Should I base any edits on your vignettes branch or just start from master / main here?
Edit: Nvm, just discovered the open PR for this.
@jansim I personally would probably start from master/ main as it would keep the PRs smaller and easier to review. That said, either works so I'll leave the decision up to you.
