Mobile gathering gives Gather power buff for just a few seconds, making full round version useless.

Pretty much what it says. Mobile gathering gives gather power buff for 2 seconds instead of 12 like the normal gather power does. It's not really how it's intended to work in TT and it makes mobile gathering as full action useless (you can't store that charge for next round) unless you're quickening the blast.
