Feature Request: Adding gowall compatibility for applying custom themes to album/track covers
BeatPrints is great for what it is, works perfectly as expected. Yet there is one feature which can significantly improve the poster's overall feel and look. I have had certain instances where the theme of poster and the track/album cover just dont vibe. As of now, i am using a custom py script which uses Gowall and pre-generates a cover for the track with the chosen theme which is then forwarded to BeatPrints as custom cover.
You can see the difference as justified. Thus I would love to see this feature integrated into BeatPrints
Wow, this looks incredible- I'm genuinely impressed! I'm not sure if gowall supports Windows, though. Could you check that for me? If it does, I might be able to get started with my work
Yes I'm using windows and it works flawlessly!
Perfect! I would love to see a PR for this :>
Sure!
Or perhaps you could just share some idea on how I might implement it myself! I'm happy to explore that if putting together a PR is a bit too much right now :)
Oh yeah here's what I'm tryin to do. You might wanna visit I fork that I am working on for the PR. Basically when calling beatprints, you can specify a bool input from user which would specify whether to call gowall or not. If value is true, then what I'm trying to do is to pass the obtained image of the metadata through a gowallify function gowall.py. I have kind of mapped the beatprint themes with gowall tho light and dark ones are still doubtfull. I will probably be finishing it by mid-May. Cheers :)
This is amazing :) I love it so much. Keep up the good work!
I'll start working on it, after June 10th for sure
Hey just stumbled upon this amazing project (loved creating like 5 album covers just now), was wondering why currently beatprint sonly supported 5 themes while gowall offers many more, haven't looked in to code yet but I'm eager to contribute!
