Midnight UI is extremely laggy with low ressource usage

I use Midnight UI on a pretty capable machine, but it spikes maybe 20 FPS at best and sometimes goes down to 5 FPS but it only takes 15%~ of CPU and 16%~ of GPU. Is it really that badly optimized? Changing priority to High didn't help.

This is mostly due to the Gecko/Blink browser engine being incredibly slow by nature. There's not a whole lot to do unless the Chrome devs get it together.
