deploying to azure

I don't know if this is covered but is there a way to publish to azure without having to using node.js or express? I published to azure website but don't think this is SEO (univeral) ready. I guess, I need to run node.js and whatever else? If node.js instance is need then I assume I need to seperate angular code and backend code!? I am newbie. thanks much
