http://www.gjt.org/ is old and may be based on cvs (?) but maybe something can be recovered from there?

Maybe there is a Python module to readout meta information about projects on https://pypi.org/. Read them out and either complete download locations for existing entries or make new ones.
From the backlog ftp://ftp.tuxpaint.org/unix/ should be a good place.
In principle that shouldn't happen, but if it does (for example sources can become lost) I would need to remove them (open source requires a source).
All with some kind of source version system which isn't git. Convert them to Git if not active anymore, otherwise ask if conversion is desired.
