[Feature Request] Add a command to toggle switching this plugin on/off.
If so, users would handily choose to open urls in obsidian or not.
I don't think that a command to disable the plugin is a good way to go about this.
I'm going to add settings to the plugin soon, and one of the settings will be whether or not to open links within Obsidian or not. Maybe that could have a command.
I also plan on adding a button next to the search bar that will open the url in an external browser.
Hopefully those 2 things will meet your needs
I agree that adding a command to toggle opening links within Obsidian is a good idea. Anyway, what I exactly mean is to let users decide whether or not to open any link within Obsidian in a period of time, not only for one or two or more specific links.
Yes, the setting will allow you to disable opening all links within Obsidian while it is toggled off.
This will be completed with #1
Just had an idea that might better meet more users' tastes. Why not use a modifier to change the plugin behavior, like ctrl+click to open links inside Obsidian? Hope such kind of similar features is easy to achieve.
I like the modifier idea! It doesn't seem to overlap with other classic browser tools too!
I could easily implement a modifier (such as ctrl) to open the links in Obsidian. I'd personally not use this, so I'll make it a setting
