[FEATURE-REQ]: How realistic is it to make the initial console setup translatable?

How realistic, resource-consuming and/or time-consuming/difficult is it to make the initial console setup translatable? I mean those "first run" setup steps where the user is asked about console model, screen-orientation/position and if the main partition must be extended and stuff.

Motivation (behind your idea)

The questions asked at setup steps are important, the language of the questions is foreign and incomprehensible to non-English people, the timer is ticking insidiously at this time. Especially where there is a lot of such text, as in the step about increasing the size of the main partiton or when the license agreement is displayed.
