Is there a way to regenerate resources with updated columns

I would like to know if there is a way to speed up updating the contents of the trestle resources after columns have been modified from the original time of resource creation.

I will try to give this a go as far as implementation is concerned.

Also curious if there is a method of creating admin views for nested resources or nested models. There isn't any documentation.
