How to replace menu item icons with small images

I want to replace these menu-items icons with images .

menu do item :users, icon: "fa fa-star" end

Wanna replace this fa fa-star with image. Is it possible or does trestle provide any customisation for it?

This currently isn't supported but is something that I would like to add support for, particularly inline SVGs for icons.

Out of interest, is your goal to use an inline SVG or embed some other image type (i.e. a PNG)?
