Accessibility
I am a visually impaired user and am thinking about getting into the 2-in-1 windows game, but I need to figure out how I will deal with accessibility before hand.
I would like to know how much of this, if any, is possible with this application.
I need to create gestures mapped to custom shortcuts. Specifically I need the shortcuts for controlling the windows magnifier: (Win +) (Win -) (Ctrl Alt i) (Win Esc). These would be essential for me to be able to use a tablet comfortably.
What would be nice is some kind of functionality with (Ctrl Alt arrow keys) for moving the focus area of the magnifier. I saw a thread about continuous gestures where the poster brought up a cool sounding option available in "Touchme Gesture Studio" for controlling volume. I am not sure if I could apply this sort of functionality to moving the magnifier around, but I would be interested to try. However, what would be much nicer is the possibility of doing something like how the iOS magnifier works. In iOS, with the zoom function enabled, you can drag with three fingers to move the magnifier focus around. Would something like that be possible with this? I imagine that might be difficult, but I would be interested to know what some of the limitations might be and perhaps take a part in solving those issues.
Also, I would need a gesture mapped to "copy to clipboard," but I figure that is easy compared to everything else I just mentioned.
Hello there,
I took the liberty to try a few of your things on my Surface Pro. It is possible to use shortcuts for [Win] + [+] with Gesture Sign (see here: https://imgur.com/xB9i8ao ).
I noticed that in Windows 10 the magnifing glass on my tablet even has a touch mode (see the plus and minus buttons in the corner). When zooming in there are additional button for moving the zoom area around (see here: https://imgur.com/khDW6r1 ).
Additionally the next big Windows 10 update is supposed to contain the possibility to move the cursor and perform clicks with your eyes. I dont know if that might help but maybe will be more accessibility options.
