Add mono channel check

Hi, Thank you for this great pluginval tool! My plugin passes pluginval's check but failed in auvaltool (Logic Pro validation). I found it is because I use stereo channels and I didn't consider the situation using the mono channel. So could you add validation for the mono channel? I'm new to this tool so bear with me if I have any mistakes.
