I think we should rather try to fix the style bug than try to limit the menu item count, IMO it's a less sustainable solution. Feel free to fix this and post a PR, otherwise I'll try to take a look at it ”at some point” – this unfortunately isn't a top priority for me. This could also be a good first issue for new contributors, anyone feel free to take a stab at it :)
