Remove the `subdir` option from `config.yml`

As pointed out in #2100, proxying a tracks instance through nginx and configuring it to serve static assets is the way to go.

Remove the subdir option from config.yml and provide adequate documentation on the website so that humans can properly set up the application proxied through nginx
