dnd plugin: not working after Big Sur update

Here's my config:

After the Big Sur update, the button is not toggling the do-not-disturb mode. The icon still changes its color, but it has no effect on the systme.

I'm not sure this plugin's being maintained anymore since this has been an issue for over a year. See issue #369 for the original bug report and some good workarounds
