Edit border and vertical align in flat ui

The borders of edit text in flat ui are way too ugly its would be nice if we could remove or leave part of it. Also i would like to control vertical align of the text in edit text because when paired with a label he would be always be bellow.

Control which borders we Edit can have or none, and vertical align of the edit.

Describe alternatives you've considered

putting edit bottom in center_of label. Creating a extended class of edit to remove the borders.
