Bluetooth or BLE

I'm thinking about using totalcross for an aplication that needs to be cross-platform for both mobile and desktop, but i need to use bluetooth (BLE, if possible). There is a totalcross.io.device.bluetooth package but it's not clear if it works on mobile, does it?. Also it seems to be only bluetooth classic. Is there any intention on adding BLE funcionality on totalcroos? Is there any way to call native code on Totalcross, so i can add ble support myself?

We do have native access and within a few days this documentation will be available and yes this class can be used for mobile. @flsobral can answer about the BLE.
