Ambitious FR: Sort plugins by installed date

I was thinking maybe there is a way to do this starting with your plugin.

Maybe something like this?

An option that automatically adds the current system date & time to the plugin note on installation, and some way to use those dates in the plugin page to sort them by date installed. Or maybe the precise date is not necessary and instead an incremental number could be assigned to each. e.g. 1, 2, 3... 74 etc., and it just sorts by first or last installed.

Is this possible?
