Can I use the plugin to start my app in background (or as a service) ?

I need to start my app in background when I boot my device. Can I use this plugin and how?

Not directly into the background task with this plugin only. Please check out the README.md and the its section "Related plugins". Unfortunately I have no time to maintain this plugin. So it may have some issues with the latest android versions.
