I just wanted to say how much I appreciate that you are trying to bring back this old mod. I know making a mod as complex as this is not an easy task. You are really awesome for even trying. I hope you manage to finish it and just know you have my thanks.

I agree. I hope that this project will continue! Excited to try it with Forge 1.13 or maybe even Rift 1.13!

I'd love to get an update about whether this is still getting updated or not, this is one mod that I miss so much from the "old days". Really excited to see how this mod goes if it's still being developed.

Thank you all! Although the development has had a bit of a hiatus, I still fully intend on continuing it.

I just wanted to chime in here, since others have, and express similar sentiments. I cannot thank you enough for remaking this little gem. I used to play Terrafirmacraft many moons ago and smart moving was an absolutely essential mod for me while doing so. After that it was a mod that was a must-have in every personal pack I made. I always wondered why it didn't have a larger user base, but I assumed that the use of core mods, compatibility issues, and some overly complex movements were partially to blame. My only suggestion would be to keep things simple compared to the original. Keybinds are obviously at a premium in modded minecraft, so dedicating multiple keys to frequently used movements can be problematic. For me, the basics of Smart Moving were all I really used. I'd suggest focusing on sprinting, crawling, and climbing. Polish those three things, and get them working smoothly, and I think this mod would really shine. The simple changes to game mechanics, like being able to fit in a one block space or to climb up walls mobs cannot or sprinting out of range of a sneaky creeper explosion, all improve gameplay in countless ways. Anyways, I apologize for the wall of text. I'm just thrilled to see this remake happening. You have my eternal gratitude, and I'm sure others would agree. One gold star for you, sir! :)
