Extensions

  • orc quest
    • in dungeon there is small number of orcs (not full location), in final dungeon you can go & fight at arena against boss & henchmen or hack your way to boss killing orcs (orcs start fight each other when 20% of them dies); boss have powerful but slow attack that can miss when player moves, more hp less dmg
    • killing gorush should not aggro citizens (different group FRIENDLY_ORC)
    • killing 75% of orcs should be enough to finish first quest
  • evil - 50% chance that Jozan fails to close portal and undead will attack from it (later 25% and 10%), it takes more time to close portal and Jozan need to be protected; final boss is on arena (he have more hp but weaker attack like all bosses), he summons undead at 66% and 33% hp; after killing he summons portal to dark energy plane that pulls everyone into it; inside plane there black specter attacks player, boss is ghost and steals life from team every second (black specter may come from one of portals too)
  • goblins - boss have mansion/castle and team goes there before finding his true locations; in final battle he may escape and team need to run after him on world map; in combat he jumps to higher place and shot with bow while flying (Rama ultimate :P); this also needs to be more logical
  • mage - summon elementals, have strong spell that is channeled and need to attack him to break it, use mana shield
  • wanted - move between locations, have some bad reputation (when that will be implemented), guards attacks him, can talk about letter with him
  • drinking contest (saveable, talking something between drunkmans/losers)

New

  • A charismatic peasant has been making some noise in the city slums talking about rights, freedom and other unsavory topics. The spies couldn't find nothing on her and the emperor doesn't want a martyr. Can the players stop the brewing revolution and if so, how? Surely she must have a price... right?
  • The players have to escort a quiet teenager to another city. Who is this person? Why were the players personally asked by the emperor to deal with this trivial matter? The roads are safe, it's not like there is going to be an ambush. What's going on? Now that they think about it, he looks a bit like the emperor...
  • It finally had to happen. That goddamn hero foretold by the typical old prophecies banned by the empire. Everything checks out: humble origins, magical sword, cute pet as comedic relief... and so good-looking! Of course the emperor is not an idiot and sends the elite team (the players) right away to deal with the hero. Unfortunately the Fates seem to be on their side and not on the player's so "just kill him!" isn't going to cut it.
  • "Person A has a package he wants to deliver to Person B. Person B is not inside his home at the moment. You get the option to put the package in his mail slot. When you return to Person A, person A is gone. An explosion is heard from Person Bs house.
  • dreamer & sleepers - team finds underground complex where there are humans in cryogenic sleep, they can be woken - they start living as heroes - travel around, gain levels, get followers, they are quite powerful and have unique abilities
  • drunk-man quest - find alcohol stronger then 100%

  • lost item - random item, family hairloom
  • stolen items - family hairloom, steel bars for blacksmith
  • find 10 herbs for alchemist
  • offer: work at unloading loose bees [oferta: praca przy rozładunku, pszczoły luzem]
  • unique quests per player class ?
  • Zaq capture monster quests
  • escort person/caravan
  • kill rats in basement - they are very hard THere is a lone inn on crossroads. Inside are notes on walls informing about big reward for small task - killing rats in basement. Innkeeper gives the details. Reward is big because none takes this quest seriously and everyone thinks it's to easy for them. Inside basement there is dungeon with rats and in the end trap with wererats. Surviving and coming back to innkeeper make him attack team with serval other wererats (previously they were inn guests).
  • hunt for monsters - every month there is random monster selected and you have to kill it to get reward
  • after seeing wanted poster you see target walking in middle of city

Secret quest

  • secret quest - trzeba znaleźć i przeczytać książke, zrobić amulet z księżycowego kamienia, spać w określonych miejscach żeby zdobyć blueprint, materiał i znaleźć kuźnie do stworzenia klucza, spanie przed fontanną przenosi do podziemia, w innych miejscach losowe scenki i podpowiedzi
  • książka o LD daje skilla 1 poziom, obrazek z amuletem, mając ją w ekwipunku można zrobić amulet u kowala/maga który daje +50 do skilla
  • spanie/LD zwiększa skilla
  • podczas spania w zależności od skilla jest szansa na LD (1 punkt = 1%)

Other quest ideas

  • removing items should happen when in dialogs they talk about it + animation (this will require saving current position and then restoring it)
  • not all quests available from beginning (level requirement)
  • don't generate problems to have quest, generate quests because there are problems
  • QuestEntry in journal, remove unaccepted_quests
  • DT_IF_HAVE_QUEST_ITEM and DT_DO_QUEST_ITEM is ineffective, use script functions
  • builtin messenger unit, leave location after giving message or go somewhere else
  • wearable quest items (currently there is no quest_refid for equipped items)
  • quests given by heroes (for example go to location with them to find something)
