Maybe inline image edit, with basic shapes

It seems like a nice idea, but having to create an image, then save it, then get its path, then write it down, seems like a lot of used minutes.

I would rather an inline image editor, or click->open image editor -> save.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion! I agree that inline editing would be good to have, but it would be a lot of work to get even something basic working solidly, and then I forsee unending feature creep.

Instead, there could be an 'edit image in external editor' button. NB. If the image is an item in the project, you can right click it, choose 'Open with', and choose an external image editor to open.
