I will overwrite `winfo_screenwidth` and `winfo_screenheight` soon to return the unscaled values so that the approach at the beginning will work independent of the Windows scaling.

Workss fine on macOS, I will tets it on Windows.
I dont really know whats the problem or whats not working exactly, by default the widgets should adapt to the display scaling, so they should be the same size on...

Which platform are you using? On macOS its working fine.
darkdetect must be installed on the python version you are using in vscode.

@infinitel8p did you use the latest version? For me there is no problem, the tooltip is showing on the text and the image.
I think you are using an old theme file, the format changed with version 5.0.0.
