@tschuehly found the issue, simple missing `@Order` annotation on the Filter. I do have some issues with my release setup, so it'll be for tomorrow morning.

Have you tried running the application with all your GuiceBundle and SessionHandler but without this plugin? I have been looking at this, but I also can't really figure this out...
