I have this Exporter installed on two of my Macs and on my desktop machine, it has stopped working. I no longer see it under extensions. I would love to have this and I've not be able to find anything close, not in the Adobe Exchange or elsewhere. Taking an Illustrator file, and exporting the layers as separate .ai files should NOT be a hard thing. Honestly the fact that its not built in to the app is an oversight.
