Woah, it's a really strange one! š Thanks for the report! I'm currently rewriting entirely the app, so the picker will have a fresh new implementation and will resolve this type of issue!
Also, can you try deactivate the transparency effects here in settings?
If I'm right, the box should be more visible. Can you indicate me if it's a primary screen, or multiple screen. I've also a Windows 11 that I use everyday and I didn't see this type of issue for now. If it's a portable computer, can you try a manual reboot and see it's change something?
Yeah, perhaps the rewrite needs a re-rewrite. I switch off transparency effects, and the weird box bug is still there opaquely. Yes, It's my primary screen, using just a laptop, no external monitor

Aside from the color picker issue, the settings window requires some fixes. For example, the color picker is positioned too far left, and there's no padding like on the right.

Also, congratulations! I was looking for a good color picker app, and I particularly liked that the color in the window updates in real-time as you move the picker.
okay thank you for the details! I'll check what I can do for this.

About this one, it's not a bug but intented. It's just for positioning tools in the top left corner of Colorpicker. Next UI update will completely change this.
here a WIP screenshot of it:
Wow, that looks fantastic! On a development note, Iām not sure if it falls within the scope of this app, but a contrast checker feature would be an amazing addition. Displaying the name of the color while selecting it would be the perfect touch. Additionally, the palette window could benefit from improved UI and UX, and perhaps extracting a color palette from a drag-and-drop image could be a super handy feature. I use powertoys colorpicker which is really nice and handy but unfortunately it is quite limited Attching some refrence just for inspiration

I think the contrast checker would fit perfectly in the empty space on the right side above the hex code button in the color-picker app. Just a suggestion, but it would be awesome to see this app evolve into a versatile, all-in-one color picker for Windows OS, similar to something like ColorSlurp on MacOS, which I really miss.
