I need to port code to DreamBerd - Please advise

Dear Mr. TodePond, first of all, I'm a very big fan of your programming language. It's just incredibly well designed. But sadly, I'm having problems getting it to run and doing some actual coding in it.

Here's my problem: I've designed a highly anticipated new file format, which is called RSV (yes like the virus) - which will end the reign of the CSV format once and for all - and was asked to do a port of my reference implementation to DreamBerd (see the explanation video on YouTube: RSV - A Simple Binary Alternative to CSV.

But it seems I'm having trouble achieving fundamental things with the language. So would you please advise.

My repository can be found under https://github.com/Stenway/RSV-Challenge . An implementation written in DreamBerd---e-acc (hope I got the versioning right), would make a fine addition to the already over 30 implementations available.

Please use the Fortran or Python implementation as reference.
