Notification not correctly supported

Hi again, i installed and am using homebridge with your NUT plugin successfully.

However, when the UPS power switches on battery, the ios Home app displays a notification only when it is opened. It is the issue discussed here: https://github.com/nfarina/homebridge/issues/1006

The answer of homebridge owner seems to be "the plugin is not using notification correctly". As you are the plugin owner, do you confirm this ?
