Update check for versions.json and program

Small idea I had, but it could use the GitHub API to fetch the latest release and compare it to the current one. For the versions.json file, it could check the raw file directly from the repository.

It wouldn't be automatic (as it could take some time before starting the program), but with a new option like --check-update
