no response additional info: some gamepads have a switch to toggle DirectInput and XInput, try switching to different operation mode. also some gamepad vendors do not implement the protocol/buttons/etc correctly...

this behavior is very strange - have you tried different SD card?
this might be related to neon support - probably model b does not support neon. anyway, nothing that we can/will fix most probably.
is this still an issue? we do not face this issue on the devel builds. if so, feel free to reopen with comment on current status.
