Who owns bitsandbytes?

There is a bit of conflicting information regarding the ownership of bitsandbytes.

Recently, on GitHub, the ownership of the repository transferred from Tim Dettmers to bitsandbytes-foundation. Is the "bitsandbytes foundation" a legal entity?

The official documentation is hosted by Hugging Face, Inc., but the MIT License specifies "Facebook, Inc." (note: not "Meta Platforms, Inc.")

Clarity on this would nice.
