Seperate TiddlyWiki and Firefox code

It would be great if the TiddlyWiki code and the Firefox code were totally seperate so that you could code a plugin for any browser and use the same TiddlyWiki connector code in all of them. I am wanting to use the TiddlyFox adapter in chrome, and thought this might be a big benefit. I'm pretty sure it would need to be modified a little bit to each use case, but it would make it easier. Maybe this is already the case, I don't know.
