Video embed as external video(using Dropbox) is not playing

I embeded a small mp4 video from Dropbox as external Video link in my tiddlywiki opened in tiddly desktop...but was unable to play the video...how ever the same tiddlywiki file when opened in Safari browser played the vidoe

Hi @arunnbabu81 unfortunately nw.js doesn't by default support H264 video playback, and enabling it requires the payment of royalties. As noted on this page, there are other video codecs that are supported:

Can you suggest a way to embed small videos files as external links (from Dropbox) into TW opened in TiddlyDesktop. I tried the other formats mentioned in the link, however nothing worked except for the mp4 format when opened in a browser (not in TiddlyDesktop). I was embedding videos using "_canonical_uri" method.

Finally I was able to embed .ogg videos from dropbox after installing a plug in "External-attachments for TiddlyDesktop"

But .ogg files won't play when I open it in Quine 2 in my iPhone, while .mp4 files do play.
