When updated to newest ffmpeg version, there is no progress bar - just show zero and then when finished, so no estimation as well.

Can you send more information about this issue like explained here : https://github.com/Tichau/FileConverter/wiki/Troubleshooting#report-an-issue ?

I've downloaded and swapped ffmpeg file in installation directory. Converting seems to be slightly faster but progress bar stays at zero till the end. The file is converted correctly - just doesn't show progress during conversion.

What kind of file do you convert ? some tools that I use under the hood are not able to give me progress so it's normal to not have progress bar for some specific conversions. Is the conversion a success ?

All mp4 videos behave like that when converting them to smaller sizes. Yes, it converts without problems. I only replaced the ffmpeg as the program wasn't updated in a while so I was checking if I can update it manually :)

I am also encountering this issue. It is only matter of displaying the Progress Bar correctly, otherwise the program converts the files as intended without any problems. When the Queue Window pops up with the files, the progress bar is not filling up to 100% as intended. Instead of filling up progressively, it stays at 0% until the file has completed the converting process and then jumps to 100%, filling the (Green) Progress Bar instantly. This Happens for every file i tested, tried different presets, .mp4 .mkv .mov. I saw somewhere suggested to update latest .NET Runtime 9 and .NET Desktop Runtime 9 but without any success in solving the issue.

Found the solution...but i don't know if everything will work as intended. I downgraded FFmpeg to 2.0.2's version and now the bar works correctly. From my understanding, FFmpeg in the newest version doesn't parse the progress correctly to FC v2.1 and doesn't show progress until the file finished converting
