[Bug] there is no audio device in windows

What version of WinBoat are you running?

v0.9.0-alpha2

Your Environment

Distro: bazzite stable Linux 6.17.7-ba01.fc43.x86_64 (uptodate i guess fedora kinoite 43) DE: KDE Plasma 6.5.1 Freerdp: flatpak 3.18.0 Additional info: using the newly supported podman v1.22.1 and appimage winboat the device is ThinkPad L15 Gen 1 (20U7000UUS) windows is also uptodate

Steps to Reproduce / Context

install windows 11 ltsc 2024

Logs

winboat.log install.log couldn't find the 3th log file

Expected Behavior

there is should be an audio device and the sound working

Current Behavior

logged into windows and there was no audio device

Same with the 0.8.7 AppImage on a ThinkPad Z16 Gen 1 on Linux Mint 22.2, Cinnamon 6.4.8.

Hello, were these pictures taken in a noVNC session? If so log out and use the RDP session through the app.

for the first part i'm not sure what you mean but the picture was taken when i was using the winboat vm from the browser for the second part i'm not sure how to do this? if you meant clicking the app from the winboat apps list that let me open the vm from the browser then this what i do everytime i want to use it if you mean the rdp client app i installed it from flatpak but it doesn't launch so i can't try this

by the way created virtual machines using virtual machine manager and qemu don't have the same issue i suspect it might be (like the webcam) the audio device is also connected via usb

You need to open the desktop (or an app), through the winboat app itself not through the browser since the browser session does not use RDP.
