Hi,

Are you planning to migrate to GitLab ?

We have to thanks MS for trashing yet another good website...

Cheers.

GitLab has similar DCMA Policy too, I would recommend to use notabug.org instead.

Hi both,

GitLab.com has a serious database incident before, while notabug.org is not big in scale, so I was interested in bitbucket. But this project is only a simulator and doesn't contain any code of crack something. So I guess it hasn't break the DCMA and maybe we don't need migrate for now. What do you think?

Just because they bought Github doesn't mean they will do politics with it. In fact, they are probably careful about those things.

Even if someday MS intervenes here, moving the project then - when there is an actual problem with Github, is just as easy as it is today. Until then I think the best for this project is to stay here, where collaboration is more likely to happen than on some other niche site, users likely not have accounts on.

I'd consider a move today a knee jerk reaction, to be honest.

I kinda agree.

MS won't chase Github repos like this one given that they are buy trying to get their QA team together...

I mean come on, 1809 has proven that being an Insider (read, a MS fanboy) is fucking useless.

I don't understand, tbh. Who is a MS fanboy here? :-) ... and how it's related to the topic.

I wouldn't worry too much about MS, I got the repo mirrored anyway! ;)

I'm using a self-hosted gitea to mirror the repo!
