In very rare cases the sensor get stuck and keep sending out the same values, this case could be picked up the daemon and warn the user that he needs to take out the battery to reset the sensor.

I have the same issue. It gives me the same info. Nothings changes. Any solution?

Can you confirm that the non-changing sensor value is indeed sent over by the sensor and this is not a bug in the daemon? Which value would be best suited to detect this issue? Which does change the most likely? I believe that would be the light sensor value.

For alternatively uses you might have installed the sensor in a dark space, and hence I think maybe humidity would be better, anyhow, why not check if none of the the output hasn't changed. Then its needs a restart!

Sounds also good. As there is currently no storage of values in the software this needs a bit of preparation. Hopefully soon I'll refactor the code to offer a class for plants. This feature here could easily be a part of this. Of course if you want, a PR is highly welcome.
