Total Overdose Widescreen fix makes game crash on startup.

I placed the files next to TOD.exe, when running the game the game does not launch, i tried both the original .exe and the crack by RELOADED without any success. i'm using the french install of the v1.0 DVD version of the game.

EDIT: Widescreen fix is working when using the GOG version but not the DVD version.
