Anyway, the issue i am having, is the game crashes at startup when "ImproveGamepadSupport = 1" in the config, its the same story if its set to "= 2" as well.

My guess is that the code responsible for replacing button textures is incompatible. All byte patterns (memory addresses) are valid, so it's possible v1.0 and v1.1 are just too different.

This is the first time I've heard about this. Are you using the right region? I believe there's a patch for NA and a patch for EU.

Going with v1.0 is also cutting you off from other mods, like Extra Options and HD Reflections.

I don't even know, its been such a pain to get NFS Pro Street Working.There is no real guide to getting it working available, would appreciate a full blown tutorial or set of links that point me in the direction of a fully working game. (No car lot crashes, no startup crashes, no freeze at end of race etc)

1. Install game. I recommend using the US version of the game if you aren't doing so already.
2. Install official patch. You have to determine what region you're game is, I can't help you there. A. US Patch B. EU Patch C. FR/DE/IT Patch
3. Install v1.1 No-CD by Battery (27.4 MB).
4. Install Generic Fix or Multi-Fix. I obviously recommend Generic Fix but either one should work.
5. Limit framerate to 60fps (RivaTuner).
6. Play.

Got a link to the US Version of the game ? I can only find the EU ones available for download -_-
