[NFSU2] keeps scrolling up.
All the time I open menu where is possibility to scroll up and down, it keeps scrolling up itself. It does not happen without Widescreen Fix. When I disconnect my controller it works but it happens on every controller that i have so it's not making the problem.
There's a similar issue: https://github.com/ThirteenAG/WidescreenFixesPack/issues/387 Have you tried disabling some options in the ini, see if one of them causing this?
I tried to turn off improved gamepad support but nothing else.
If you're using something other than an Xbox controller, like a PS3 or PS4 controller, then try using DS4Windows or ScpToolKit. It's been awhile since I've used a non-Xbox controller for PC, so they might be outdated now.
I know some 3rd party gamepads let you switch between XInput and DirectInput. Make sure it's in XInput mode if you're using one of those too.
So, I use Dualshock 4 with DS4 Windows and turned on "Hide DS4 Controller". It uses Xinput.
I tried using my own DualShock 4 controller and I didn't have any issues navigating the menus. I then installed DS4Windows and did the same thing as you did for XInput and I still couldn't reproduce the problem. I'm on Windows 10 version 1709.
Okay, unchecking "Hide DS4 Controller" does cause a scrolling issue with the widescreen fix installed. But even so, using that hiding feature should be a good workaround for now. I also found that changing LeftStickDeadzone to 0 in the widescreen fix config solved the issue for me. Let me know if that makes a difference for you.
Changing the deadzone helped! Thank you a lot!

Alright, I had a similar issue with NFSU. It persisted without the asi loader though, so I turned off different programs.
Turns out, it's Steam. Quit Steam and the game behaves normally again. I suspect it's something of Steams' controller compatibility things, but apparently it's also active for non-Steam games.
THIS! THIS WAS IT?!?! THAT'S WHAT I'VE WASTED 15 HOURS ON? wow... Thanks for sharing, I might have gone crazy if I had to continue trying with no avail

i am not on a controler rather a wheel having the same scrolling up issue but changing LeftStickDeadzone to 0 in the widescreen fix config didnt help and i am not sure what else to try pls help :/
I can't really help. It's an old game and its controller support is outdated. Unless you believe this is an issue caused by the widescreen fix, then there isn't anything I can do.
Closing this issue, NFSU XtendedInput has this resolved.
@coastercrab For the record, XtendedInput now has Windows 7 support in the latest version.
Reproduced issue with steamdeck that was connected to ds4, somehow fixed with SD reboot
